Coincidence / Ambivalence (SINE008) is the new release from Sine Language Records’ artist Angel.

These two atmospheric, ambient tracks channel distant, sun-torched vistas, doing so in contrasting ways. On Coincidence, the peaceful sounds of waves evolve with deep, intense textures to evoke a vast dunescape, while on the more meditative Ambivalence, melodic fragments shimmer like a mirage, hinting at distant memories of a more luxurious location and time.

Angel began her career in London as a music journalist and event promoter. She has since appeared as a DJ in Tokyo, Berlin, and Bali, and her mixes have featured recently on Dublab and Reboot.FM.

In 2019 her track Bahamas, a collaboration with SLR artist Ose, featured on Dummy Mag’s Brand New playlist
